After reading the book shhh! which is about travelling through a giants castle past the giant mouse, hen, cat and wife without waking him up by checking through flaps all the way. In the end he wakes up and we have to trap him inside the book.
The children have made their own great flap books leaving the giants page till last and then trapping him inside, after all we didn't want 27 giants running around the classroom!! We think one escaped as we used him to make giant stew. One of the side effects is that the children may start growing so keep an eye on them this weekend. If they grow too quickly they need to turn around 3 times!
