Snails

Tigers made cheesy snails this week which were yummy!  We thought about making snail pie but for some reason the children were not keen on that idea, can't think why?!

 The children had to spread the tomato puree across the pastry and then add a sprinkle of mixed herbs and some grated cheese.

 We then had to roll up the pastry into a spiral and make a body for our snails.  It was quite fiddly and some peoples pastry kept sliding all over the place.  We cooked them in the oven and ate them outside.  Anyone for cheesy snails?
