Fossils

 We looked at ammomites in lots of different sizes.

 It was quite heavy to hold and each side looked very different.

 This fossil opened into two pieces.

 The children listened really well and took great interest in examining the different fossils.

 Some of the fossils were very small and we had to look very carefully to see them.

 Dinosaur fossil eggs were a favourite. As well as the neck bone from a dinosaur!

 We were not expecting to see the leg bone of a baby woolly mammoth though!  It was very heavy and got the children talking.

The children were very excited and interested when Dave came in to show us some of his fossils.
