Green Fingers

The Tigers and Leopards have had great fun today planting seeds, herbs and flowers which have been kindly donated by Westways Garden Group.  Not only will these plants help improve the overall look of our temporary Foundation playground but the children can learn about caring for plants and flowers.  

We must remember to water the plants.  Don't they look lovely? 

Some of us made posters to make sure that people care for our plants and don't pick them.

We had to fill the pots with soil and then carefully dig a hole big enough for the plants.  We looked carefully at the roots and gently patted the compost around the plants.
